Streamlabs
Two clean paths depending on your plan. Ultra has multistream built in. Free pairs with Restream as a fan-out layer, you keep one destination in Streamlabs, Restream handles the rest.
Open your clive dashboard and click Get clips in 1 click. Copy the two values it shows.
Open the multistream panel
Streamlabs Ultra ships a dedicated multistream panel. Open Streamlabs, click the settings gear in the bottom-left, and head to Stream → Multistream.
Your existing platform (Twitch, YouTube, Kick) should already be listed as a primary destination. Don't touch it, clive will join as a secondary output.
- 01Settings gear (bottom-left)
- 02Stream → Multistream tab
- 03Confirm your platform is listed
Add a custom RTMP destination
Click Add Destination and select Custom RTMP from the list. Paste the two values from the credentials card above into the matching fields.
Save. Streamlabs now knows to push to both your main platform and clive in parallel.
- 01Click Add Destination
- 02Choose Custom RTMP
- 03RTMP URL → paste rtmps://ingest.clive.skeet.now/live
- 04Stream Key → paste your key
- 05Name it "clive" so it's easy to spot
- 06Click Done
Go live
Hit Go Live as normal. The multistream panel shows both destinations transitioning to live within a few seconds.
Cross-check your clive dashboard, the status pill on the central card flips from INGEST IDLE to RTMP LIVE.
- ~2 secStreamlabs reports both destinations connected
- ~10 secClive dashboard flips to RTMP LIVE
- 2–4 minFirst clip lands on your dashboard
Troubleshooting
Common gotchas
Restream says one channel is "offline" while the other is live
Restream rate-limits the free plan at 720p / 30fps. If you're sending higher than that, it drops the secondary channel. Lower your Streamlabs output bitrate or upgrade Restream.
Streamlabs "Restream" service not appearing in the list
Your Streamlabs is out of date. Update to the latest version, the Restream integration ships with Streamlabs Desktop ≥ 1.10.
Custom RTMP channel rejected by Restream
Restream's field validation expects rtmps:// (TLS), paste the full URL from the dashboard exactly. Don't trim the scheme or strip the trailing /live.
Clive dashboard stays INGEST IDLE after going live
The most common cause is one wrong character in the stream key. End the session on the dashboard, start a new one, paste the fresh key into Restream (Custom RTMP channel settings), and restart your stream.
Adding clive killed my main platform output
You're probably on Streamlabs Free with the wrong "Service" set. Free only sends to one destination, that destination needs to be Restream, not clive. Switch the service back to Restream, then verify clive is a channel in Restream.
No clips appearing after a long stream
Open your AI Directives in the dashboard. A very narrow watch instruction can mean clive found nothing matching. Broaden it, "clip moments where chat reacts, anything funny or impressive" works well as a baseline.
