Sub-processors

A sub-processor is a third party that processes personal data on our behalf so we can deliver part of clive. We keep the list short, and each provider receives only what it needs to do its job.

clive is operated by Skeet, Inc. and shares infrastructure with the wider Skeet platform, so this list is the same one published at skeet.now/subprocessors. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

• Amazon Web Services (United States). Hosting, compute for the watcher and render workers, S3 storage for captured segments and finished clips, and CloudFront delivery.

These providers receive stream audio and video, or data derived from it, so clive can find moments worth cutting.

• Google (Gemini, including Gemini Live). Watching the stream, scoring moments, and reasoning about what makes a clip.
• Groq. Speech-to-text, both while a session is running and for captions on finished clips.
• fal.ai. Generative video, where you explicitly ask for it.

When you link a Twitch or Kick account, we exchange OAuth tokens with that platform in order to identify your channel and access the stream. Those platforms are not our sub-processors; they are services you separately hold an account with, and their own terms and privacy policies govern what they do with your data. You can unlink at any time from your clive settings.

• Stripe. Credit and subscription payments.

Full card numbers never reach us. They go straight to the processor, and we keep only a tokenised reference.

• Resend. Transactional email such as sign-in links, receipts, and clip-ready notifications.
• Tawk.to. In-product support chat.

• Sentry. Error telemetry, scrubbed and aggregated before it leaves our systems.
• PostHog. Product analytics.
• Pusher. Realtime delivery of session and clip progress events.

• Self-hosted components. Authentication runs on BetterAuth, an open-source library we operate ourselves. Your credentials stay inside our infrastructure.
• Stock media sources. Pexels, Pixabay, and Freesound supply licensed media into the editor. Data flows from them to us, not the reverse.

We update this page whenever a provider is added or removed, and revise the “Last updated” date. Customers on a written Data Processing Agreement can request advance notice of changes.
